How can EDGE support your program?

Skills camps & team training

Bring a high-performance approach directly onto the floor.

EDGE camps are designed around the team in front of us—not delivered from a fixed itinerary.

From focused skill development to complete team training, each camp begins with the program's athletes, coaching staff, current priorities and competitive objectives.

The experience can support a specific technical need, accelerate a team's development, challenge experienced athletes or help coaches create stronger training habits alongside their teams.

Coaches remain part of the process, helping the work continue after the camp ends and translating what happens on the floor into future practices.

What is EDGE?

Better coaches build
better programs.

EDGE was built for cheer programs that want to invest in the people behind their athletes.

Drawing from more than 20 years of coaching, thousands of hours on the floor, and experience developing teams from novice through the highest levels of All Star cheerleading, Charles Lanoue created an approach designed to turn experience into practical coaching education.

Through customized staff training, systems, tools and ongoing resources, the work helps coaches think more critically, make better decisions, use their training time more intentionally, and create environments where athletes and teams can excel.

There is no single formula for great coaching. The goal is to develop coaches who know how to find the right answer for their team.

More than a seminar

The seminar may be where it starts.
The edge continues throughout the season.

This isn't designed to inspire your staff for a weekend and then disappear.

The concepts introduced through the experience are supported by purpose-built systems, tools and resources designed to stay with your coaches throughout the season — helping turn what they learn into what they actually do on the floor.

From planning and decision-making to training, evaluation and development, the objective is simple:

Create lasting change in the way your program coaches.

Built for your program

Your program isn't generic.
Your staff training shouldn't be either.

No two programs have the same athletes, coaches, culture, challenges or objectives.

Seminars are built around the needs of each organization rather than delivered as a fixed, off-the-shelf package.

  • Staff size.
  • Team structure.
  • Experience.
  • Competitive level.
  • Current challenges.
  • Program objectives.

Whether you're developing newer coaches, challenging an experienced staff, working with novice teams or preparing athletes for the Worlds stage, the experience can adapt to where your program is — and where you want it to go.

Charles Lanoue wearing a 2026 World Champion medal
Experience shaped on the floor, in program leadership and across the international cheerleading community.

For more than two decades, Charles Lanoue has built his career in cheerleading from multiple sides of the sport.

His perspective has been shaped as a coach, gym owner, program leader, judge, educator and contributor to the development of cheerleading nationally and internationally.

As a longtime gym owner and program leader, Charles helped build and lead one of the most decorated All Star cheerleading programs in the world. Under that program leadership, the organization achieved 21 World Championship titles and 42 Worlds globes.

The story extends far beyond medals: judging since 2009, coaching and speaking internationally, serving on the boards of Cheer Canada and Cheer Québec, and contributing to international rules and development through the IASF Rules Committee.

Those different perspectives helped shape the principles behind the work — thousands of hours of coaching, experimentation, successes, failures, adjustments and decisions.

The purpose isn't to teach everyone to coach like Charles. It is to help coaches become stronger thinkers and decision-makers themselves.
